Employee was 62 years old when he injured his lower back while operating a tractor trailer truck which was involved in a motor vehicle accident in New York.  The employee underwent two (2) surgeries to his lower back.  Attorney Sabra negotiated a settlement of $270,000 which represents approximately seven (7) years of future Section 34A benefits. A 37 year old woman hurt her shoulder when her motor vehicle was struck by another motor vehicle.  The client underwent two surgeries and had severe permanent disfigurement to her leg.  The insurance company only offer was $7,500.00.  A lawsuit was filed by Attorney Sabra and the matter was heavily litigated before the matter was scheduled for mediation at which time the case settled for $80,000.
